Greeting from Executive Director
Welcome, and thank you for visiting our website! I am excited about having the opportunity to share with you, in just this small way, what a truly special place IDDI is.
As we begin 2010, I can’t help but reflect on the many great things that have occurred recently at IDDI:
The opening of our universally-accessible treehouse has allowed us to provide our ‘kids’with an incredible gift; to see the joy on their faces as they enter the treehouse makes me remember all over again what an honor it is to be a part of this organization.
Last spring, our Children’s Program, also known as Crystal Springs School, held graduation ceremonies for the fifth time in its history. Graduation, and the prom that follows, is always a joyous occasion for everyone.
The horse and carriage ride program, funded through generous donations made in our former CEO’s name, has been a wonderful addition to our ‘kids’ lives.
As we say goodbye to 2009, we will continue to strive, as always, to develop new and exciting ways to enrich the lives of the boys, girls, men and women that we serve; and our number one priority will forever remain to ensure, above all else, that they receive the very best care, support and love that they deserve.
As always, the needs of the individuals we serve, and their families, come first. I would like to thank our caring and professional staff for their commitment to this goal and for their continued support. I look forward to the next months and years with hope for all that is to come.
