Institute for Developmental Disabilities, Inc. is a private school/day program and residential facility, which serves children and adults with developmental disabilities in Assonet, MA. IDDI offers a generous benefit package that includes health, dental, life, short-term, and long-term disability insurance; and generous time off accruals. All positions require applicants to be able to read/write/speak English fluently; drug screenings are performed on all interested applicants; criminal record background checks are performed on all potential employees. The following positions are immediately available.

Teachers – Special Education - Must be Massachusetts licensed to work in an education program for developmentally disabled children. Full time – year round with school vacations.

Residential Supporters – to work with our adults in a community setting - part time positions with set schedules; includes weekends, all shifts; DMR experience a plus; $12.00/hour starting rate of pay.

Residential Counselors to work with our children in a residential setting. Experience working with behavior programs a must! Weekend shifts available which includes some holidays. $12.25/hour starting rate of pay - $.50/hour differential with proof of associates or bachelor’s degree in related field.

COTA – part time (20 hours per week) to work with the students in our children’s program. The successful candidate must be creative and flexible. A working knowledge of SI principles is a plus. New grads are welcome to apply. No weekends required.
