The Parents' Advisory Group (PAG)
The Parents' Advisory Group (PAG) is for the parents of school-aged students in our Children's Program. This group, which is led by the Director of Education, discusses topics that relate to the education, health, and safety of the students at Crystal Springs School. The PAG meets four times a year, generally at a time linked to a school event. IDDI staff members from education, residential, nursing, and psychology attend these meetings to answer parents' questions. Recent PAG topics have included: MCAS testing, nutrition and diets, and the graduation.
The next PAG meeting will run concurrently with our Open Forum on April 10, 2010.

Parents and Friends of Crystal Springs School, Inc. (PFCSS)
The Parents and Friends of Crystal Springs School, Inc. (PFCSS) is comprised of parents of children and adults living at IDDI. An annual meeting is held for the election of officers on Family Day in September. Interim meetings are also held throughout the year where there are guest speakers, news on wills and trusts, or other helpful information that may be a resource for family members and friends.
On September 22, 2008, PFCSS and IDDI will host the 11th Annual Dr. John Manning Golf Tournament. In the past, proceeds have funded a number of items such as an entertainment system in the IDDI gym, a barrier-free lift for the pool, computer equipment and software, and Christmas gifts for all residents. Parents and friends can participate in our annual fundraiser by seeking teams, sponsors, ads, raffle items and contributions.
All parents are encouraged to attend PFCSS meetings.
